The BEST 2 ingredient homemade biscuit recipe!

There's several recipes like this well somewhat exactly like this out there they are often called "cream biscuits" because that's all you need heavy cream and self rising flour! Talk about budget friendly! I add salt and melted butter to mine as well but most of us have that on hand all the time! The trick to soft fluffy biscuits is do not pack the flour when u measure and use a butter knife to scrape off excess... sounds crazy but it is key to have correct amounts! Also i always use dry measuring cups for dry ingredients and wet measuring cups for wet ingredients something I've always been told...I need to check into that more lol but I do it anyways!
So are you ready for this uhhhh mazeee ing recipe? Just think about adding garlic and cheese to these to for spaghetti night or cinnamon rolls.... yummmm this is my new bread staple in our household!

2 cups self-rising flour, plus more for dusting
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
Melted butter for tops (about 1/4 c I guess you will need some before and after baking!)

Directions
Preheat oven to 500 degrees F. Spray pan...do this now not when your hands are flour deep in dough!

In a medium bowl, stir together the flour, salt, and cream until the dough forms a ball. Turn the dough out onto a surface dusted with additional flour. Fold the dough in 1/2 and knead 5 to 7 times if that , adding just enough flour to keep dough from sticking to your hands. Gently roll or pat out (i pat!) dough to 1/2-inch thickness. Using a 3-inch biscuit cutter coated with flour, cut dough into biscuits.*another tip...resist the twist..do not twist when you cut the dough out. Press strait down and up. when you twist it cuts off the rising of the dough :)

Place side by side touching on baking sheet coated with cooking spray, mop on melted butter and Bake for 8 -10 minutes, or until golden brown. If you like a crunchier side on yours space them out ;) when strait out of oven wipe down with melted butter and a sprinkle of salt or Parmesan! Nom Nom Nom......;)
